MGHC “Fall Garden Festival” Is Sept. 24

The Grasp Gardeners of Hamilton County, in affiliation with the College of Tennessee Hamilton County Extension, are holding a “Fall Backyard Pageant” this Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. outdoor on the Bonny Oaks Arboretum and the Hamilton County Extension Middle, 6183 Adamson Circle, off Bonny Oaks Drive.  Admission is $5 for adults; kids 12 and underneath are free.  Free parking is on the market.  For extra info, go to the MGHC web site: https://mghc.org/fall-garden-festival/.

Lisa Clark, pageant chair stated, “With the County Honest going down later within the season, the Hamilton County Grasp Gardeners will probably be holding our second Fall Backyard Pageant, a one-day, out of doors occasion on the grounds of the Hamilton County Extension and the gorgeous, historic Bonny Oaks Arboretum.  The Pageant will present Grasp Gardeners with the chance to share their information and experience with the general public via a variety of gardening and nature-related reveals and demonstrations.  As well as, there will probably be a number of distributors with crops, bushes, and shrubs, plus handmade meals, nature-inspired crafts, and different gadgets, in addition to enjoyable and academic actions for youngsters.  Proceeds from the Fall Pageant and different MGHC occasions assist our Scholarship Fund and Group Backyard Grants program.  We have now seen that curiosity in gardening has grown lately.  Our mission is ‘We Train You How,’ and we stay up for assembly and educating the numerous gardeners in our space.”
