That is our latest product! The EZ BSF Larva Lab is for rising and harvesting black soldier fly larvae. It straightforward to arrange and use for ongoing success. It is a compost system particularly made for the black soldier fly larvae. It has a ten.5 gallon capability, 7 gallons of compost space and three.5 gallons of space for the soldier flies to fly again into the bin to put extra eggs. The crawl out/harvest ramps are 30 levels making it straightforward for the pre-pupae larvae to crawl out/self harvest. There’s a chute on the high of the ramp with a 3/4 gallon catch bin for the pupae to fall into. There are two entry holes on all sides of the bin for the flies to reenter to put their eggs. On the backside there’s a half flip drain spigot to empty the compost leache from the bin with out dropping any larvae. Slide out lid for simple feeding and moisture management. This technique can maintain over 200,000 small or 50,000 giant larvae.
