Police are looking for a “chubby” man over an earlier assault on the Auckland Botanic Gardens.
Police swarmed the realm across the gardens following experiences of an assault.
“The offender is described as being male, in his 20s, of chubby construct and carrying a darkish blue T-shirt,” police stated.
Police requested for anybody who could have seen this man or any suspicious exercise across the park to contact them.
Cordons, which had been arrange earlier, have since been eliminated.

Earlier, a police spokesperson stated officers have been making inquiries following a severe incident at Tōtara Park in South Auckland.
They obtained a report of an individual being assaulted within the park at 11am. The sufferer sustained minor accidents, a spokesperson stated.
“There may be an elevated police presence within the wider space, together with close to the neighbouring Botanic Gardens.
“A cordon is in place whereas the realm is searched to find the offender.”
Residents stated on social media they heard helicopters hovering above and there have been experiences of an armed man with a knife.
Inquiries have been within the early levels, the spokesperson stated.
Police are talking with the sufferer and dealing to determine what occurred.
