For the past several years, Park City Gardens has bestowed the honor of “Garden of the Month” on local residents whose yards or gardens exude natural beauty, beautifully cultivated by community members with horticultural talent and design flair. Park City Gardens also selects a “Garden of the Month” each summer in June, July and August to honor the property owners and gardeners who own them.
In June 2024, Park City Gardens will be honored for the first time as a “Neighborhood with Beautiful Gardens” instead of a single “Garden of the Month.”
“While driving around the city looking for great gardens, we came across a neighborhood with three gorgeous gardens,” said the award-nominated members of Park City Gardens. “It wouldn't be right to choose just one of these gardens, so we decided to create a 'Beautiful Gardens District.'”
“The area is set in woodland surrounded by beautiful mature trees that tower above the house and gardens, adding to its beauty.”
“All three homeowners have incorporated the beauty of the woods around their homes into the aesthetic of their gardens,” the nominator said. “As you may have noticed, they've also incorporated netting and fencing into their designs, not just to protect the plants, but also to continue sharing the space with the animals who were there before the gardens were built.”
“The gardens are located on Bramble Way and are a beautiful and welcoming space for neighbours. Our proud gardeners work together to look after each other's gardens, and together we have almost 70 years of gardening experience. It's interesting how each gardener has their own philosophy on the planning and layout of their gardens, yet they are all equally beautiful.”

Receiving the “Beautiful Garden District of June 2024” honor are three couples who own property on the street: Greg and Catherine Gill, who live at 605 Bramble Way, Dan and Terry Vanderheiden, who live at 604 Bramble Way, and Eileen and Jim Richardson, who live at 607 Bramble Way.
