Volunteers have been acknowledged with a catered lunch on the waterfront, surrounded by the gorgeous gardens they helped create over time.
The volunteer-based gardening program celebrates its twenty fifth anniversary this yr.
In 1996, 40 ladies from Dwelling Match Inside/Out, and members of the North Bay and Space Grasp Gardeners began caring for the waterfront gardens.

Over the past 25 years, greater than 1,000 volunteers have participated in this system, dedicating about 175,000 volunteer hours.
