The Chatham-Kent Public Library is internet hosting a visitor speaker in September to assist residents with their fall gardening.

Writer Lorraine Johnson will give a digital presentation Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. Johnson has written books known as 100 Simple-to-Develop Native Vegetation for Canadian Gardens and A Backyard for the Rusty-Patched Bumblebee: Creating Habitat for Native Pollinators, co-authored with conservation biologist Sheila Colla.
The dialogue, which is sponsored by the Sydenham Subject Naturalists, shall be on the subject of planting for pollinators.
The occasion is supposed to help the launch of the library’s fall seed library program, which can have seeds accessible beginning Sept. 6. All branches are providing a wide range of seeds.
