I have used many different gardening gloves in the past and been disappointed with some that were highly rated or recommended by professional gardening organizations, but these gloves impressed me with their overall performance in everyday gardening tasks.
Weeding is one of the toughest jobs for gloves. The gloves I tried recently started to crumble after just one weeding session. They hated the job even more than I did. But the Woheer gloves held up well while weeding between the patio slabs and flower beds.
I also found them comfortable to wear while planting as they didn't feel like I was wearing boxing gloves and allowed me plenty of flexibility. The same was true when using garden tools. Using garden shears requires some dexterity but didn't restrict my movement. The gloves were ergonomic and soft to wear, allowing me to get a good grip on any garden tool I used.
I too have been able to avoid getting hurt by thorns while plucking rose petals, but if you are reaching deep into the shrubs to prune, I recommend using gauntlet gloves to protect your arms.

The gloves slipped on easily, and I like the elasticated cuffs instead of the clasps that can be difficult to tighten. I did get some dirt inside the cuffs, but that wasn't an issue and was more down to my small wrists.
The gloves come in medium and large sizes. I have small hands and the medium size was comfortable for me. Most reviews say the gloves fit well, but a few say they run small. I would say they fit just about perfectly.
The back of the gloves is made of a soft, stretchy, lightweight and breathable fabric. The stretchability makes the gloves more flexible and doesn't restrict movement. This makes it easier to hold and use your gardening tools. For example, if you need to bend your hand to use pruning shears, a heavy glove can get in the way.
The material is also sweat-wicking, so you won't have to worry about your hands getting sweaty after spending a few hours in the garden.
The leather backing is thick enough to protect your hands from small thorns and sharp objects, but not thick enough for heavy-duty work, so you'll need to buy something more sturdy for landscaping work.
