Howard Allen Wilkison, beloved husband, father, grandfather, buddy, and group pillar, handed away peacefully Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Methodist Hospital. He was an energetic member within the Greensburg Presbyterian Church, president of the Decatur County Park Board, 4-H, and training youth sports activities. He quietly expressed his love for others together with his giving coronary heart and infectious smile.
He was born on January 19, 1940 at Rushville Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Indiana to Harold and Mary Alice Wilkison. He grew up on this space and attended Clarksburg Jr./Sr. Excessive together with his older sister Marjorie. In his youth, he was energetic in 4-H and basketball. He was closely influenced by rising up on a farm and beloved gardening, livestock, and being out in nature.
After highschool, he attended Ball State Academics Faculty the place he majored in Schooling and obtained his B.S. He additionally performed basketball for the Cardinals and met his future spouse Doreen at Ball State. He earned an M.S. in Schooling from Indiana College.
He and Doreen Hastings have been married on August 8, 1964 in Sisters Lakes Michigan on the Sisters Lakes Neighborhood Church and remained collectively for 56 years.
Howard taught for 44 years for the Greensburg Neighborhood Faculty Company starting at Billings Elementary and later Jerman Elementary the place he coached basketball for youth leagues.

Howard was very beloved and will probably be sadly missed.
A memorial service will probably be held on January 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm on the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg. Revs. Garrett and Marena Vittorio-Schindler will probably be officiating.
