A third commented: “Spilling all your secrets.”

While it's possible to mow your lawn when it's wet, it's usually best to wait until it's dry, for personal safety, the health of your mower, and to get the best, most even cut.

Your lawn will likely end up looking patchy, and a wet lawn could damage your lawnmower, resulting in costly repairs.

On sunny days, waiting until mid-afternoon will ensure that your grass is completely dry.

Depending on how wet your lawn is, it may take anywhere from a few hours to a day or more to dry completely.
