Tulsa Area Iris Society Show & Sale

Get tips on how to grow your own award-winning irises, and potted irises will be on sale at the Tulsa Area Iris Society exhibit. This year's event will be located adjacent to the Linnaeus Teaching Garden in Woodward Park, so be sure to visit this garden and the exhibition gardens in full bloom.

Native Plant Sale at Philbrook

Join Philbrook Museum's Native Plant Weekend to celebrate and support the biodiversity that calls Oklahoma home. Connect with community members doing important work to protect wildlife and habitat, learn about easy ways to support pollinators at home, and shop native plants grown by Philbrook gardeners please. Enjoy earth-friendly art creation and live music. Admission is included in general admission ($5 after 5 p.m.) and free for members.

On Saturday, while supplies last, receive a free native plant with any plant sale purchase. There will be pollinator-friendly natural crafts, open studio watercolor botanical painting, live music, painting demonstrations by Alpha Rho Tau, and our friends from the Tulsa Zoo and the Oklahoma Conservation Commission will also be on hand.

Wildlife Habitat Garden Tour and Plant Sales

The Tulsa Audubon Society is hosting its 31st annual garden and garden tour showcasing native and wildlife-friendly plants from the Tulsa area, as well as plants from nurseries that grow native and wildlife-friendly plants. We also sell.

Tours can begin at one of five locations in Tulsa: 5161 E. 27th Place, 3916 S. Sandusky Ave., 4115 E. 45th St., 7515 S. Braden Ave., or 5406 E. 76th St.

Business hours are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

Tickets are available now. Children 13 and under are free.

Nature POP!

Sean Kenney's Nature POP! On display at the Tulsa Botanical Garden. This new exhibition showcases more than 40 of his sculptures, made from over 800,000 of his Lego pieces, and explores nature through highly stylized and colorful displays that contrast strikingly with their surroundings. Explore beauty.

Produced by Imagine Exhibitions, Nature POP! brings together art, science, and innovation in an exhibition of artists' latest sculptures. Nature POP! Ask guests to think about how everything in nature is interconnected, just like Lego blocks are interconnected.

Tulsa Garden Club Annual Garden Tour

Oklahoma's longest-running educational charity tour returns for its 73rd time in time for Mother's Day weekend. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy Tulsa's private home gardens in all their spring glory. Purchasing a tour ticket grants you admission to four of his gardens in midtown Tulsa. Advance tickets are available for $15 via Eventbrite until Friday, May 10th at 3pm. Tickets on the day of the tour will be available for $20 at the first featured garden on Saturday, May 11th.

Tours are self-guided and often the garden or home owner and/or their professional team will be on-site to answer any questions you may have. Wear equipment appropriate for the weather and enjoy this special space.

Proceeds will benefit the Tulsa Garden Club's official and non-official grants, including the Tulsa Garden Center, OSU Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Gardening of Oklahoma, TCC's Gardening Second Chance Program with Conner Correctional Center inmates, and other local and global gardening education partners. Donations will be made to official gardening education projects.

The Tulsa Farmers Market's 27th season opened on April 4th. Stop by on Saturdays between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. to check out local farmers and vendors' inventory.
