Police have swarmed the realm round Auckland Botanic Gardens following experiences of an assault.

A police spokesperson stated officers had been making enquiries following a severe incident at Tōtara Park in South Auckland.

They acquired a report of an individual being assaulted within the park at 11am. The sufferer sustained minor accidents, a spokesperson stated.

“There’s an elevated police presence within the wider space, together with close to the neighbouring Botanic Gardens.
