Veterans Day: Queens Hosts Ceremony At Borough Hall, Kew Gardens

QUEENS – Queens residents who want to honor those that served within the army on Veterans Day can head to Queens Borough Corridor subsequent week for a ceremony hosted by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr.

The ceremony will probably be held on Tuesday. Nov. 15, at 11:30 a.m. on the Helen Marshall Cultural Heart at Queens Borough Corridor, honoring the 150,000 veterans who live in New York City.

“Queens is a borough of chance, variety and alternative as a result of, at the start, Queens is a borough of veterans — heroes who, for hundreds of years, have given a lot of themselves to protect freedom right here and around the globe,” Richards mentioned in an announcement.
