GROW will hold an open garden from Tuesday 11th June | News

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Starting Tuesday, June 11th, GROW La Crosse will be hosting a weekly Open Garden event.

The Open Garden will take place every Tuesday through August 6th from 9am to 11am, rotating through a different elementary school garden location each week.

Every Thursday through August 8th, there will be an open garden at the Cain Street Community Garden from 4pm to 6pm.

Each Open Garden event allows visitors to explore and experience a variety of gardening activities, as well as learn about and connect with nature.

Members of GROW La Crosse will be at the event to guide visitors through a variety of hands-on activities each week.

These Open Garden events are free to attend and visitors are welcome to stay for the full two hours or drop in at any time during the event.

The event on Tuesday, June 11th will be held in the gardens of Spence Elementary School.

This week's activity theme is “Pico de Gallo in the Garden.”
