Wind Chime and Wine Workshop

Get creative and relaxed with a Windchimes & Wine class at Garden Deva Sculpture, a leisurely two-hour experience where an instructor will guide participants in creating unique and whimsical Windchimes using artistic metal pieces and colorful beads.

Second Saturday Dog Day

You are welcome to bring your dog to this special day at Tulsa Botanic Gardens. Complimentary puppy cups will be available while supplies last. Dogs must be fully registered, vaccinated and under control on a 6-foot non-retractable leash at all times. Owners must clean up after puppy waste. Limit two dogs per household. Please bring your own water bowl.

Master Gardener's Garden Tour

Every year, the Tulsa County Master Gardeners do a garden tour showcasing some of the Master Gardeners' homes. This year, there are five beautiful landscapes to inspire you. At each location, there will be a Master Gardener on hand to answer questions.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 during the garden tour. The deadline to purchase advance tickets is June 7 at 4 p.m.

The tour home address will be listed on your printed ticket.

“Free Food for Life” Workshop

Learn how to grow a sweet potato to feed a lifetime at this make-and-take workshop. This kid-friendly event is hosted by the Owen Park Neighborhood Community. Matthew Woodson of Front Yard Gardens LLC will teach you how to make a paper flower pot, fill it with soil, and give you a free sweet potato plant to take home to feed a lifetime.

Magical Mystery Tour IV

Celebrate National Garden Week with a day trip to an undiscovered place. Magical Mystery Tour participants will explore the joys of gardening on a day filled with mysterious fun.

There are 40 spots available. Register by June 5. Tickets are $65 per person and include transportation in a chartered bus with restrooms and snacks along the way, admission to a secret gardening location, and lunch and snacks. Participants on Tulsa Garden Club's Gardening Educational Day Trips are typically 21 years of age or older.

Please leave large purses and backpacks at home. Bring a beverage with a lid, a camera, and pen and paper for taking notes. Please dress for Oklahoma weather. There are no rain cancellations planned.

Photographing the garden with a smartphone

Learn simple ways to significantly improve the quality of photos taken with your smartphone. Participants will learn basic concepts of photography, become familiar with their cell phone cameras, and practice their skills on a photo walk. Class participants will enjoy special access to the Teaching Garden during the golden hour in the evening.

Philbark Dog Days

Philbrook Museum's Dog Day is the third Sunday of each month. Leashed dogs are allowed in the outdoor gardens. Please bring a bowl to fill the water fountains. You are also welcome to bring your leashed dog for walks and outdoor seating. Owners must promptly clean up pet waste. Waste disposal stations are provided. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and registered. Dogs must be socialized and well behaved. Philbrook staff reserve the right to ask owners to leave campus with their pets. Dogs are not allowed in the galleries. Service animals are always welcome.

Father's Day Car Show

At the Tulsa Botanic Gardens you'll find the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum and other automobile exhibits from car clubs and enthusiasts. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Gardening hand drawing

In this three-week series, participants will learn the art of hand-painting using the finest specimens from the Teaching Garden. Instructor Barrie Lamberton is renowned for his skill and teaching. Purchasing this workshop covers all three sessions and students must attend all three sessions. A materials list will be provided, but students are encouraged to purchase a custom materials kit with bag handcrafted by Barrie at the first class session. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

The Glass House: The Golden Gatsby: Conservatory 100th Anniversary

June 29th The Lord & Burnham Conservatory, located in Woodward Park Mansion, has housed a beloved collection of plants for 100 years. In 2022, the conservatory underwent an extensive restoration with funds raised by the Tulsa Garden Center. It reopened just in time for its 100th anniversary.

The conservatory will have a grand opening on June 29th. The event is free and open to the public. In the evening, the Glasshouse Gold Gatsby is a ticketed 1920s-themed party with live swing music, an ice cream party, and more.
